What is your service area ?
My standard area is Hattiesburg, West Hattiesburg, & Oak Grove. I can in certain cases and times cater to the Petal, Sumrall, Purvis & Columbia areas. Refer to services and pricing for all area service fees.
Sounds expensive, is it?
My prices are a little more than a stand alone grooming shop. A Groomer On the Go is all about one on one personal attention at your doorstep; so in some cases it may be somewhat higher. However, you are paying for that convenience and personal service.
Do I have to be home?
No! We all live busy lives. A Groomer On the Go is all about convenience. I can definitely make arrangements (note* liability form will be required).
Can I watch?
It is okay to watch from the van window. I do not recommend being physically in the van while I am grooming. This is in order to safely keep distractions at a minimum (for both the dog and groomer).
How are you powered?
A Groomer On the Go is powered by a generator and an battery powered electrical inverter. You will not have to provide any type of facilities (just a driveway and clearance area of at least 10'4")
Do you accept credit or debit cards?
Yes, I accept all major credit/debit cards. Checks are also accepted, but any returned checks will be assessed a $40 returned check fee.
Do you accept any breed of dogs or cats?
Yes! big or small I will groom them all!
Do you groom special needs pets?
Yes, if you have a pet that is elderly, disabled, has temperament issues or is shy--then A Groomer On the Go is your answer. Grooming is done in a quiet, stress free environment not far from your pet's safe zone (home). Pets with special needs will be accepted on a case by case basis. Your pets health is most important to me, grooming service may have to end if there is a risk to your pet.
What about cancellations or if I forget my appointment?
Last minute cancellations, no-calls, no-shows all result in loss income. Cancellations require at least a 24 to 48 hour notice, failure to do so will result in a $35 cancellation fee. Emergencies do occur and will be judged on a case by case basis.
If you are not home at your scheduled appointment time there will be a $35 no-call / no-show fee per pet which will need to be paid prior to rescheduling. If you cancel 3 times we will not be able to keep you on our regular routing schedule.
What type of shampoos do you use?
I use all natural ingredients and soap-free formula based shampoos. I also have hypo-allogenic shampoo (for the ones that have sensitive skin), medicated shampoo and an all natural flea and tick shampoo. All shampoos are gentle and eco-friendly.
If your pet has a special shampoo-just let me know.
